Shoulder Mobility
This class focuses on the movement of the shoulders and scapula. The shoulder joint is the most susceptible joint to injury because it has fewer ligaments restricting its movement than other joints in the body. The best way to protect our shoulder joint is by strengthening the surrounding muscles that enable its movements. In the class we dive into exercises to strengthen and stretch the shoulders and scapula throughout their entire range of motion.
spinal Mobility
This class focuses on the movement of the different portions of the spine - lumbar, thoracic, and cervical. The spine is our central support structure in the body that keeps us upright and protects our spinal cord. Improving spinal mobility can be the first step to reducing back pain, and with some extra practice will enable us to do exercises like back bends and bridges. In this class, we'll implement a wide variety of exercises to begin our journey to a better back.
Knee & Ankle Mobility
This class focuses on the movement of the knees and ankles - two of the most heavily used joints in the body. The ankles and knees are susceptible to overuse pains as well as tears in the ligaments and tendons such as the ACL and the achilles tendon. In this class, we will do exercises to strengthen the knees and ankles throughout their range of motion while also performing exercise to increase that range of motion and further protect those joints from future injury.
